Phthirus pubis female crab or pubic louse 1 - 2 mm. Females lay 150-200 eggs; egg to egg takes 17-25 days. The eggs are similar to the head or body louse but smaller. These have been found not only on pubic hair, but also body hair, beards, eyebrows and eyelashes.
